While it may be tempting to breathe right after breakfast, it’s best to brush your teeth first thing in the morning, as many common breakfast foods can soften your tooth enamel and accidentally damage it.

In my day-to-day life, we know that some people like to brush their teeth before breakfast, while others brush their teeth right after eating. We decided to find out what happens if you clean right after breakfast.

1- It can damage your tooth enamel

Brushing your teeth after meals can help fight bacteria and protect your enamel from damage, but in some cases, it can also work the other way around. If you eat or drink something acidic, such as orange juice, grapefruit juice, or lemonade, the citric acid in these foods can temporarily soften the enamel, and brushing immediately after a meal can weaken the enamel.

If you like to drink a glass of orange juice with breakfast or add a slice of lemon to the water, you should not brush your teeth for the next 30 minutes to avoid damaging the enamel. If you don’t have time in the morning, it makes more sense to brush your teeth before breakfast.
